Every year at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade there tons
of confetti flying through the air, this year the parade goers found something
interesting and disturbing about it.
They noticed that it was shredded up police documents, but they were still legible.
On these sheds of documents there were social security numbers and banking
information for police employees, some of them were undercover police
officials. They say that the documents were shredded horizontally and Newsday
says that it is one of the least secure methods of shredding documents. This allowed
entire lines to be able to read.
