Abercrombie and Fitch released that they will not be selling plus size cloths for larger women because they did not want larger women to wear their clothes.  They only sell sizes from double zero to ten. Salespeople from the stores confirmed that there were no clothes larger than a ten or XL. Now people are protesting Abercrombie and Fitch. Not only is the store taking a hit for not carrying plus sizes they are losing money because people won’t shop there and plus size shoppers make up 67 percent of shopper in the US.

Killer Potty

What would you do if you were driving while on your way to school and you were hit by a flying portable potty?  A girl in Thorndike, Maine was driving to school when her Jeep was hit by a portable potty. The truck that was holding the potty was leaving the school and it was not secured right and when the truck turned out of the parking lot it fell off and hit the girl. The potty was clean so it wasn’t as bad as a full potty. The girl was also not injured and there were not pedestrians around to get hurt.

Belletproof Backpacks

Bulletproof backpacks for kids, from Elite Sterling Security. In our country there have been many tragedies that have affected our daily life. One of the major tragedies that have happened in our country was the Connecticut, because of this backpack manufactures have started to make bulletproof backpacks. So far there have been over two thousand families that have been waiting for this backpack. The backpack is lined with the material they make ballistic vests with. The backpack is not cheap; it is priced at three hundred dollars. The backpack will also weigh over three pounds because of the ballistic material. Along with the backpack the makers are equipping classrooms in Colorado with scaled down versions of ballistic safety vests. This just proves the measures people in our country will go to, to make sure their kids will be safe in school.

Boy Shot Near Obama's Home

A boy was found shot to death. He was fifteen years old and he was found blocks away for Obama’s home in Kenwood, Chicago Illinois.  The boy name was Cornelius German.  A gunman fired a Semi-automatic handgun a group of men standing in the 5700 block of South Lowe Avenue.  Four of the men were hit. Three of them were taken in serious condition and the fourth was in fair condition. The men who were shot aged from the range of nineteen to thirty three. Two of them were shot in the leg, one was shot in the chest and the fourth was shot in the stomach and arm. All of them amazingly survived. The reasoning behind the shooting, from what the police believe, is that there was internal gang conflict in that area.

$15 Million iPhone

There was a Hong Kong Business man who custom made his own iPhone case. The case was worth over fifteen million dollars. The case was made out pure gold, it has over 600 perfect white diamonds. It also has 53 other white diamonds that make up the Apple logo on the back of the phone. However though it is worth fifteen million dollars is because its 26 carat black diamond worth fourteen and a half million dollars. The black diamond is placed on the home button of the phone. I if would never do this because I am not the biggest of the iPhone, and if you lost your phone you would lost fifteen million dollars worth of diamonds and the black diamond was a family heirloom.

Fortunately the nuclear power plant was undamaged. The epicenter was fifty five miles southeast of the poet city if Bushehr, which is where the Nuclear Power Plant is located. There are thousands of people living in villages near the nuclear power plant, and those villages were seriously damaged. Most of the damage that was caused by the earthquake was the cities around the epicenter.  The nuclear power plant is still fully functional.

Lumina Down But Not Out

Famous art blogger Ben Anderson has decided to change his career path from the blogging world to an artist. He came out with his first piece of art last week with an unveiling of what he calls Remembrance of the Lume. Recently the infamous Chevy Lumina died out on him and he decided the best way to commemorate the passing of the Lume he would turn it in to a piece of art, like it was when it was on the road. When he unveiled his work of art, an old competing blogger, Arianna “Art” Fearing, show up trying to discredit Ben of his accomplishment. When she started to argue with the magnificent artist, she easily lost because she truly had no facts to her argument, she was then forced to blog about sports. Ben still continues to blog about art, but he is more focused on creating it. Fortunately Ben said he found another Chevy Lumina on Craigs List that is exactly the same, but he will never forget his first car. When I talked to him in an interview he said “I hope to finish an entire collection ‘Lume’ art by the end of April.”

Sandusky Tries To Strike Back

Jerry Sandusky was convicted for child sex abuse. He was convicted in June of 2012. There have been audio clips of Jerry Sandusky trying to discredit one of the eyewitnesses in the case against him. Jerry Sandusky said that he did not understand how someone could walk in and hear sex noises when they were goofing around. I personally believe he is not innocent and he should stay in jail for his full sentence. Even without the witness that said that he heard “Sex noises” the kids he sexually abused came to court and testified against him.

The Green Street United Methodist Church announced that through a strong statement asking congregation’s pastor to perform a gay wedding instead of the official marriage rights. Unfortunately the United Methodist Church is restricted to only heterosexual marriages. Throughout our entire nation we are trying to legalize same sex marriages and to allow them the same rights as opposite sex marriages.  The people of the Green Street United Methodist Church believe that all people should be allowed to marry no matter if they are Gay straight or bi-curious.

Children are Apples Biggest Buyers

Apple was sued by parents because their child downloaded a free game but then the child would make multiple purchases in the game for the in game extras with the parents knowing. Apple is now offering a $5 iTunes Gift card for any parent who has claimed that their child has made and in game purchases without the consent of the parent. If the bill exceeds more than $30 and the parents can prove it happened before the lawsuit then they can receive cash instead of iTunes credit. A Florida father reported that his 7 tear old child charged a total of $613 on his credit card playing a game called “Tap Fish.”  It is like Farmvill but underwater.  After that Apple had to revise its in app purchasing policy making it so that you need to reenter your password before you buy an in-game purchase.

Asteroid just missed us

Scientists believe that on February 15 there will be an asteroid that will approach the earth. It is said that it will pass safely but it is only 17,200 miles above the earth’s surface. It is half the length of a football field (150 feet) in diameter and has an estimated mass of 143,000 tons. If this were to crash in to the earth it would be equivalent   to 2.4 million tons of TNT exploding.  The chances of an asteroid of actually hitting the earth are one in a million chances, but if it does happen you can see the destructiveness of them.

Boy Scouts Lifting the Ban On Gays

Boy scouts have postponed the decision of admitting openly Gay people from participating from joining in Boy Scouts. They talked about lifting the ban of gays last week, but on Wednesday they said that they will postpone the lifting on the ban until May. Other scout leaders and parents said a fracture between traditional scout councils and liberal ones could create walls. Troops still banning gays disdaining gay led troops, and vice versa, could open the door to a new way to look at the differences and diversity of them.  “In a free society, organizations fail or flourish according to private choices of innumerable families,” the Boy Scouts said in a brief to the US Supreme Court in 2000.

Syria Research Center Bombing

Syrian government said that an airstrike inside its territory on Wednesday was carried out by Israeli warplanes. This may cause the two year conflict to spread throughout Syria and further beyond the country’s border. Syrian Military said that a research facility in the Damascus suburbs has been hit. They do not know the specific target yet. This attack was the first attack in more than five years that Israel’s air force had attacked a target in Syria. The attack killed two people and caused a huge amount of material damage. “Israeli warplanes violated our airspace at dawn, bombing directly one of the research scientific centers in the Jimraya district in rural Damascus.”

iPotty, the newest thing!!!!

The iPotty is a new product where it is nor only a regular plastic toilet to help train the growing child in how to use the potty, but it also has an adjustable stand to mount an iPad on. so while you are training your  kid in how to use the bathroom they can just be sitting there playing games or listening to music. The potty does not include the iPad with it, but the actual toilet costs only forty dollars. The main idea behind the iPotty is to have your kid feel more comfortable on the toilet and to have them spend more time on it.

RGIII Down But Not Out

RGIII tore his right ACL in 2009 and then had reconstructed surgery. RGIII’s doctor, Mark Adickes, said “never doubted he would recover fully and achieve his goal to play in the NFL. His work Ethic is ridiculous. All efforts post operatively were spent trying to slow him down.” RGIII won the Heisman Trophy in the 2010-11 season. Adicks said “I would much rather draft a player who has proven he can overcome adversity and return successfully from injury/ surgery. Very Few pro athletes have an injury-free career. With RGIII there should no doubt he is a tough guy and if at some point during his career an injury does occur you can be confident he will have little difficulty  returning to form.”

Samsung GS4 or iPhone 6

In the future but not near future, Apple and Samsung will be coming out with a new versions of their most popular phones, The Galaxy S IX and the iPhone 6. The iPhone is said that it plans to come out either this spring or fall, so that means that Apple is starting to test it now. People believe that Samsung will release info on the Galaxy S IX at CES next week sometime. I believe that the iPhone will change a little but not very much, at most it will just get a different look and the speed of the phone will go up a little but not that much.
