Boy scouts have postponed the decision of admitting openly Gay
people from participating from joining in Boy Scouts. They talked about lifting
the ban of gays last week, but on Wednesday they said that they will postpone
the lifting on the ban until May. Other scout leaders and parents said a
fracture between traditional scout councils and liberal ones could create
walls. Troops still banning gays disdaining gay led troops, and vice versa,
could open the door to a new way to look at the differences and diversity of
them. “In a free society, organizations
fail or flourish according to private choices of innumerable families,” the Boy
Scouts said in a brief to the US Supreme Court in 2000.
